And more answers to your Pride questions "(I) certainly embrace everyone being able to celebrate with pride and dignity a show of their identity, which is what I think the flags are all about," Hartman said. Some of the flags that represent visibility for transgender and bisexual people are becoming almost as widely known as the original pride flag, Hartman said. "We know that visibility is key to acceptance and legal rights and to changing hearts and minds," Hartman said. In the years following the pride flag's creation, others have been created to represent identities that fall under the LGBTQ umbrella.įlying flags that celebrate each of the LGBTQ communities is an act of visibility, said Chris Hartman, director of the Kentucky Fairness Campaign in Louisville. LGBTQ activists say it couldn't be more timely. Stonewall Forever: 50 years later, digital monument debuts. He never placed a copyright on the flag because he wanted it to "owned by everyone," Baker's friend Charles Beal told The Huffington Post in 2018. The potential meat is okay if you get the one with pigs but overall I find they’re pretty dull after awhile. If you’re not wanting corn then these are basically just unnecessary death traps. Considering the amount of good houses to choose from I recommend removing the most destroyed ones to clear up bad house choices from generation. While easy to clear through are pretty much useless after early game. These POIs for the most part have no loot or not any good loot and just take up space that good POIs could have. Now we get on to the POIs that are near useless. Undertakers are great for medical supplies and are basically just as useful as cemeteries/churches POIs to Get Rid Of Not a lot of loot but potentially even a great base. Skate parks can be a great first night as they have iron fencing. While not insane in terms of loot, they are very quick and usually have some form of weapon to grab as well as quick food. The big high school is the best as the gym has a hardened chest. Its a lot of loot with usually not a lot of challenge. Schools and football stadiums while not insane with high tier loot, usually have a lot in the way of normal essentials. Getting any form of transportation is a big progression point. Car lots and mechanics are perfect for obvious reasons. Buildings such as water and oil companies are incredibly useful usually for the safes they have that almost always have good early game guns. Army Emergency Relief (AER) Overview Overview. In 2015, alongside Victor Di naire, Bissen scored the documentary “Glory Daze: The Life and Times of Michael Alig”, which documents the heyday of New York clubbing in the 90s. In 2016, Dinaire+Bissen remixed Ruth B "Lost Boy", which went into summer-long regular rotation on terrestrial US radio, including WAPE Jacksonville and KKHH Houston. Dinaire and Bissen have since lent their hands to dozens of remixes, helping releases chart in the top 10 of the Billboard Club Play Charts numerous times since 2014, with 5 additional #1s so far. With a remix in 2014 for Bingo Players’ “Knock You Out” the duo helped propel the release to #1 on the Billboard Club charts, scoring their first #1 record on that chart. In late 2012, along with long-term collaborator Victor Dinaire, Bissen embarked on doing remixes for major artists and labels, starting with the French art rock band M83's "Steve McQueen", received to much critical acclaim, as well as Major Lazer and Flux Pavilion's "Jah No Partial", which went top 25 on the Billboard club charts. Always in pursuit of a fist-pumping, "all systems go" attitude, Bissen's sound exhibits an effective blend of tough, energetic beats and grooves, coupled with extremely memorable, big melodic riffs and hooks-proper huge tunes for dancefloors, not armchairs, that have lasting impacts on clubgoers and DJs alike.īissen creates one club banger after another, from his remix of the Black Eyed Peas #1 song "I Gotta Feeling", which was one of Ibiza's summer anthems of 2009 and received extensive UK BBC Radio1 play, to 2011's "2nite U R Perfect", which was one of the year's most memorable club songs, being featured on German and US FM radio, as well as on DMX, reaching millions of shoppers every day to 2016's remix of The Chainsmoker's "Don't Let Me Down", which got extensive club and US terrestrial radio play, especially on New York's 103.5 WKTU.Ģ011 saw Bissen start up his project "Exostate" with singer Jeza for Enhanced Recordings, 2 out of 3 singles released so far reaching the Beatport Top 10. These records have been released on some of the biggest, most desired and well-respected labels in the industry, including many of the major label imprints. Storming the scene almost a decade ago with the now classics "Exhale" and "Quicksand," Bissen has, as a dance music artist and producer, had over a hundred original and remix releases since. Bissen has created some of the biggest dancefloor smashers in the club scene in recent years, all while also designing sound presets for Ableton Live, Sample Logic and others, writing music for adverts for some of the world's biggest brands, doing sound design and composing for major TV networks, and running his own music licensing, production and publishing business. Hot off his second mix compilation album, a continuous US tour, a slew of major label remixes for the likes of M83, Madonna, Depeche Mode, Major Lazer, Jojo and Ruth B, two Beatport Top 10 hits over the last couple year with his project Exostate, and a slew of upcoming releases in the pipelines, German-born, New York residing Georg Bissen has never been busier making his mark in the world of EDM. Should I buy the Encalife Ambience Galaxy & Star Projector? Whilst there aren't as many color combinations as other projector lights on the market, the combinations and patterns caused by the dome do help create a whimsical and peaceful environment or a colorful party atmosphere. The lights and lasers themselves shine bright and vivid. The supplied remote is needed to change some settings, without the remote, you’re unable to change the configuration or speed of colors, use preset modes, or set the sleep timer. It would be useful if you had a pre-loaded playlist for a specific event where a reliable internet connection isn't possible, or where a routine of songs is required (e.g a sleep playlist). We haven’t been able to test this, as we’re sure, like most people, these are now quite outdated for playing music from and we didn’t have one loaded with music to hand. There is also a USB port for plugging in a flash drive. Encalife Ambience Galaxy & Star Projector: Performance There’s a control panel on one side, though we feel this could be simplified to make it more user-friendly for children. There is a speaker on each side of the device which is great for listening from any angle. This makes it nice and easy to get into position and easily fills the whole ceiling with lights, though some might find the bright light emitted from the dome itself distracting. Unlike other projectors like the Sky Lite 2.0 or the Homestar Flux which have quite a direct light projection, this one has a faceted dome over the LED to help disperse the light over 180 degrees. The shape is akin to the top of a stereotypical UFO. This is a shame as we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product itself. The user manual reads ‘Music Starry Projector’ and the text within reads like a poor translation.Īlthough branding isn’t everything, the lack of clarity and continuity in both design and messaging instantly leads us to question the product’s integrity and quality before we’ve ever laid our hands on it. It simply reads ‘Starry projector light’. The packaging doesn’t feature any company branding or logo, and it doesn't say anything about Bluetooth connection or the fact it’s a music speaker. If we hadn’t been expecting this product in the post, we wouldn’t have known which company it had come from. While star projectors are a great way to absorb yourself in the beauty of the night sky at home, chances are you'll want to explore the real thing, too. The Encalife Ambience Galaxy and Star Projector is in our roundup of the best star projectors and competes with the like of the Sega Homestar Flux and BlissLights Sky Lite 2.0, which we've also reviewed. It comes with a remote control but some functions can be operated using the control panel on the side of the unit. The key differentiating feature of this, compared with other models we’ve looked at, is that it is a 2-in-1 projector and Bluetooth speaker. Here we're reviewing the 'Ambience' model. As we understand it, Encalife sources and sells products that are designed to enhance the ambience of a room rather than being a company that designs and gets its own products manufactured. Unlike other star projectors we've reviewed, it is pretty hard to find out any information about Encalife itself. For patients who were imputed as dead by 6 months, EQ-5D-5L was set to 0 and they did not contribute to the analysis of EQ-5D-5L in survivors. For patients who were known or imputed to be alive at 6 months, a value of EQ-5D-5L is multiply imputed from the continuous component of the 2-part/mixture model. For patients who were censored before 6 months, first 6-month mortality outcomes are multiply imputed from the piecewise exponential component of the bayesian 2-part/mixture model. The hazard ratio for the therapeutic anticoagulation/antiplatelet interaction is 1.39 (95% CrI, 0.87-2.19).ĪResults for the EQ visual analog scale and the World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS) 2.0 are available in eTables 17-19 in Supplement 2.īThe probability of superiority and adjusted mean difference are computed from the posterior distribution of a bayesian 2-part/mixture model that multiply imputes 5-level EuroQol-5 Dimension (EQ-5D-5L) utility scores using patients’ baseline covariates for patients censored alive before 6 months and patients known to be alive at 6 months with unknown health-related quality of life. The hazard ratio for the combination effect is 1.34 (95% credible interval, 0.82-2.23) with a probability of superiority of 11.6%. This is estimated by multiplying the hazard ratio for antiplatelet, therapeutic anticoagulation and the interaction effect for antiplatelet and therapeutic anticoagulation. The combination effect provides the effect of giving both therapeutic anticoagulation and antiplatelet interventions together in combination (relative to giving control in both domains). GA total of 35 patients within the antiplatelet and anticoagulation domains were randomized to the prespecified combination of therapeutic anticoagulation and an antiplatelet agent. Probabilities may differ from those presented in the original trial reports for each domain due to changes in patient consent.įDomains are ordered based on the total number of patients enrolled in the domain from largest to smallest. The mean of the survival curves was taken across patients to summarize the mean survival for each intervention within the domain population.ĭThe probability of superiority (hazard ratio 0.83) is computed from a bayesian piecewise exponential model using the posterior distribution.ĮOrgan support–free days are a composite ordinal scale consisting of survival to hospital discharge and days free of organ support to day 21. For each patient within the domain population, separate survival curves are predicted assuming the patient received each intervention within the domain. For each domain, day 180 mortality rates are estimated for the population of patients randomized within that domain based on their baseline covariates and the estimated model parameters. The Kaplan-Meier curves include additional exposure and events from patients who were censored before day 180 or enrolled at sites that did not participate in 180-day follow-up.īHazard ratios 1 indicate worsened survival.ĬThe difference in 180-day mortality is determined from the 180-day mortality rates which are estimated from the primary analysis model. ADue to censoring, reported 180-day mortality rates are restricted to patients at sites participating in 180-day follow-up with known 180-day vital status.
